1. Types of Passports
- Normal Passport: Issued to Indian citizens for regular travel.
- Diplomatic Passport: Issued to Indian government officials and diplomats.
- Official Passport: Issued to Indian government employees for official duties.
2. Documents required include
- Proof of Address (e.g., Aadhar card, utility bills, bank statement)
- Proof of Date of Birth (e.g., birth certificate, school leaving certificate)
- Photographs: Two recent passport-size photos
- Identity Proof (e.g., voter ID, Aadhar card)
- Note: For minors, the presence of both parents is mandatory.
3. Types of Applications

- Reissue of Passport: When an existing passport expires or needs to be renewed.
- Reissue of Passport in case of Damaged or Lost Passport: In case your passport has been damaged or lost, you need to file a police report and provide necessary documentation.
